Standing tall with its head raised and beak turned to one side, Watchful Pheasant has an alert, poised presence on a lawn, border or hearth. Its rounded body is built from overlapping plates in warm copper, bronze, rust and silver tones, each with its own texture and patina, balanced by a long tapering tail.

Handmade in Zimbabwe from reclaimed metal, each pheasant carries the visible welds, shaped edges and layered detail of its making. A collar of small silver scales around the neck, a curved bronze beak and a tail wrapped in silver bands complete its natural, earthy look.
