With its head held high and a long pointed beak, Medium Heron has a calm, watchful presence on a sideboard, shelf or garden step. A dark sweeping neck rises from a body of layered cream metal plates, finished with a fine wire plume at the back of the head.

Handmade in Zimbabwe from reclaimed metal, each heron carries the visible welds, rivets and burnished edges of its making. The overlapping plates across its wings and tail give it a feathered texture, while slender legs and splayed feet keep its silhouette light and elegant.

Care
