Hand-built in Zimbabwe from reclaimed steel, the Medium Elephant has the weight and swagger of a mature bull. Its trunk rises high above the head, framed by sweeping pale tusks, while the heavier shoulders and rounded body give the sculpture a confident, substantial presence.
Mustard yellow, scarlet, cobalt blue, jade green and worn white come directly from the salvaged donor metal. Visible rivets, welds and mismatched colour panels celebrate the material's former life; their placement varies naturally, making every elephant distinctly individual.
